I lead a small prayer and worship group on some Friday mornings, and the day after the train wreck at CR, I had a time of simply being in God's presence.
We were able to just enjoy Him, touch the love He pours out on us, and rejoice in the victories we see along our live's paths.
It was a balm to my heart, and while the music I led was not perfect, it was also not a performance. It was simply a time to offer our hearts to him.
I could have let the prior debacle make me gun shy, but I know God, and how He loves us to just - come to Him. Imperfections and all.
I am on guard against it, for a number of reasons.
In my next post, I'd like to address this sneaky monster.
Until then - blessings on you as you walk with our Father!
