I've been in IT for a long time. I've seen the evolution of technologies go from "leading edge" to standard. If I had to guess its going to be 2 - 4 years for crypto to recover from the recent dips it has experienced. 5 - 10 years for banks and companies to see crypto as a viable option to store cash reserves. I predict it is going to take 10 - 20 years before you can walk into a grocery store to buy food with crypto. The change is coming but I suspect it is going to happen much slower than people expect.
