It is a blessing to live on a small island. Many things we could do here. Adventure in nature, nightlife, nice and friendly people, the most important thing… good food! I personally get tired with city life. To move and live on this island is my best decision. I want to share some things and places in one of the areas in Bali where most tourists live here. This area is called Echo beach, Canggu.

Tonic day spa and botanicals

This is a spa place that is a 5/5 based on google ratings. We could see from the outside that the spa place looks cute with the pink vespa, and two flamingos in front of the entrance's pink door. The palm trees also give the summertime vibes. Even though the place looks modern cute, they offer numerous massage treatments from Balinese relaxation to deep tissue therapy and reflexology. They also offer scrub treatments and pedicures.

Teh Manis

One of the best local restaurants in Canggu. At least for me. The food feels like home. I just can't describe it. Mostly people from other cities come to this place. Fun fact, the owner is a local actress so it makes sense if this restaurant is mostly busy with people or domestic tourists from other cities.

Local handicraft market

This is located not far from Teh Manis. The handicrafts are all pretty and unique. You can find things such as bamboo bags, kitchen stuff made from wood, clothes, etc. Don't worry, the price and the quality both make sense. Support local business!

Dojo Bali

This place is mostly known as a co-working place. It is not big but it is always busy everyday, mostly during the day. I've always seen tourists that are working from this place. I personally like it because it feels homey and chill.

Faraway sports bar and grill

Sports bar you can find in Echo beach area to chill with friends. They have billiards, hookah and also live music.

Alter Ego

This is actually one of my fav places to get a coffee in the morning before work. Sadly, this place has been closed since the end of last year. But I'm sure they will open again soon. One thing I love about this place is the interior is simple but cool.

PANDEMIE

This is the place that I mostly go for lunch if I'm at work. I did write an article about this place. They deserve to be promoted because they have the best mie goreng/fried noodles seafood ever. They offer both local food and western. I suggest you to try their mie goreng seafood.

KOAST Cafe Bali

Another place to chill in Echo beach area. This restaurant is more like a hidden gem with a pool view and white dominant furniture. Cool place to take pictures for your instagram feeds. Unfortunately when I was there to take some pictures, the place was closed. Google gotchu baby.

Gingersnap Bali

Run out of clothes? Nothing to wear for a party? Don't worry boo, Gingersnap gotchu. They sell cool stuff and clothes, for women and men. No more complains about nothing to wear anymore!

Gaya Gelato

Gelato before or after the beach? Sounds perfect for summertime. Gelato never gets wrong. Gaya is the place where you can get yummy gelato and it is just a few steps from the Echo beach.

A fun fact, I went to get some gelato yesterday with my friend. I had the strawberry and passion fruits and my friend had chocolate and passion fruits. Yumyum!

La Brisa

This is one of my fav beach clubs in Bali. The place is differently unique than any other beach clubs Imma say. La Brisa is built to be perfectly fit for any occasion; as a restaurant, beachclub, events venue for all typical of market from young people, family, party lovers, and local communities. source

Echo beach

Echo beach is one of the beaches that I always go to for sunset with friends. You can chill by the beach in some warung and get coconut for a drink while waiting for sunset. Enjoying the view of some people walking their dogs, or just basically enjoying the ocean view.

Those are my recommendations if you are staying in around Echo beach area. You can drive with a scooter or just walk.
