¡Saludos amigos amantes de las artes manuales! Hoy me complace darles la bienvenida a mi taller Bricolaje DC en esta oportunidad trabajaremos la técnica de falsa pizarra, para hacer un letrero relacionado con el café. Acompáñenme a ver el proceso creativo.

Materials:

Sheet of black opaline cardboard.
White liquid chalk
Pencil
White chalk
White liquid corrector in the form of a pen
White sheet

I made the design of my sign in fake blackboard to decorate the cover of my notebook of a Barismo course in which I enrolled. So I wanted to make a message related to coffee. But we can really use this technique to make cards, signs for a business or to highlight the brand we represent.

We started by making the design on the white sheet. I put a message: "Every cup of coffee is a five-way trip", I translated it into English. s.

Hice el diseño de mi letrero en falsa pizarra para decorar la porta de mi cuaderno de apuntes de un curso de Barismo en el que me inscribí. Por eso quise hacer un mensaje relacionado con el café. Pero realmente podemos utilizar esta técnica para hacer tarjetas, letreros para un negocio o para resaltar la marca que representamos.

Comenzamos haciendo el diseño en la hoja blanca. Yo coloqué un mensaje: "Cada taza de café es un viaje de cinco sentido", hice la traducción al inglés.

Once we have the message, we are going to make the design with the Lettering technique and we are going to incorporate a central drawing. In this case a steaming cup of coffee.

Una vez que tenemos el mensaje, vamos a hacer el diseño con la técnica de Lettering y vamos a incorporar un dibujo central. En este caso una taza humeante de café.

I can recommend that the central drawing be done first and from there we start to arrange the message.

The technique of Lettering, consists of writing a message with letters that we are going to draw in different designs, thicknesses and senses on the work surface. We can write each word in a different font style to make it look more striking.

It is important to make the design on the white sheet to be able to erase and accommodate all the message and the drawing within our work space, without marking the black cardboard.

Puedo recomendar que se haga primero el dibujo central y de allí partimos a acomodar el mensaje.

La técnica de Lettering, consiste en escribir un mensaje con letras que vamos a dibujar en diferentes diseños, grosores y sentidos sobre la superficie de trabajo. Podemos escribir cada palabra en un estilo de fuente diferente para que se vea más llamativo.

Es importante hacer el diseño en la hoja blanca para poder borrar y acomodar todo el mensaje y el dibujo dentro de nuestro espacio de trabajo, sin marcar la cartulina negra.

With the design captured on the sheet, we proceed to transfer it to the cardboard. We place the sheet on the cardboard to use it as a stencil and we will mark each line.

Con el diseño plasmado en la hoja, procedemos a transferirlo a la cartulina. Colocamos la hoja sobre la cartulina para usarla como un stencil y vamos a remarcar cada línea.

Already with the design on the cardboard, let's take the liquid chalk and start painting our sign.

The liquid chalk comes in a marker presentation. It has a cost of 0.5$ and it is available in different colors.

It can be applied on any surface and when it dries, what we draw or write will be visible. It is not waterproof and is easy to use, we only need to shake and press the tip of the marker on a sheet of paper so that the liquid comes out fluid and ready to start working.

Ya con el diseño en la cartulina, vamos a tomar la tiza líquida y comenzamos a pintar nuestro cartel.

La tiza líquida, viene en una presentación de marcador. Tiene un posto de 0.5$ y se puede conseguir en diferentes colores.

Se puede aplicar sobre cualquier superficie y al secar quedará visible lo que dibujemos o lo que escribimos. No es resistente al agua y es de fácil manejo solamente debemos agitar y presionar la punta del marcador sobre una hoja para que el líquido salga fluido y listo para comenzar a trabajar.

We highlight some of the letters with the concealer to make them thin and with a different shade of white.

Remarcamos algunas de las letras con el corrector para que queden finas y con otro tono de blanco diferente.

Note: if we can add a flourish (an extension of some letter to make it look different and pretty) surrounding the central drawing it would be perfect. In this sign, I gave the flourish to the letter C of the word Coffee, which extends to surround the coffee smoke.

We still need to add some embellishments to the design, such as droplets that enclose words, dots and on the right side I made some coffee beans and an arrow.

Nota: si podemos agregar una floritura (una extensión de alguna letra para que se vea diferente y bonita) que rodee el dibujo central sería perfecto. Yo en este letrero, le di la floritura a la letra C de la palabra Coffee, que se extiende para rodear el humo del café.

Nos queda agregar algunos adornos al diseño, como gotitas que se encierran palabras, puntos y por el lado derecho hice unos granos de café y una flecha.

To finish. With the chalk for blackboard, we are going to border what we want to highlight of the sign and with a dry cloth we remove the excess and give that blackboard effect that we are looking for.

Para finalizar. Con la tiza para pizarra, vamos a bordear lo que queremos resaltar del letrero y con un paño seco retiramos el exceso y damos ese efecto de pizarra que estamos buscando.

I glued my sign on the cover of my Barismo notebook. I am now ready to start classes with my personalized notebook.

Yo pegué mi letrero en la portada de mi cuaderno de Barismo. Ya estoy lista para iniciar las clases con mi cuaderno de notas personalizado.
