When I was younger I remember going to the library quite frequently. I used to love Tornadoes and loved researching them. My mum used to take me and I would photo copy articles and hire books on them. My wife took our kids to the library last week and they loved it. I thought today I would tag along and bring back some memories. What I really loved was how involved my kids got in books and this is where we can all still learn from.

THE INTERNET AND EBOOK GENERATION

With everything becoming so easily accessible and effortless almost I'm surprised that the library's have survived. They are almost like dvd shops but I think still have that edge as people of all ages really just love a good book. I remember growing up the first thing to replace books prior to google and Wikipedia was the cds of encyclopaedia brittanica. They were the old 700 meg disks jam packed with great info which now you can get on your phone in 4 seconds for free.
By all means I don't disagree with it and ebooks are very handy for travelers. I must be honest I'm not a big book worm 馃悰 but I do appreciate the importance of grabbing a good book off the shelf and just being able to flick the pages. It just feels right.
