I had the opportunity to cross the Somes River with an old ferry that was manually operated. It was a unique experience and I know they are in a state of extinction because at this point with such technology they are a little ineffective compared to other things. The distance traveled was very small and still moving very slowly, basically I think it took about 10 minutes to pass from side to side. Anyway I liked this unique experience and that's why I made this video to show you something you may never have seen and you probably will never get to see this thing with your eyes.
