Anyone reading this obviously pays attention to crypt markets and knows btc is taking a nice plunge. Regardless of the reasons or the news surrounding it, it always seems to come back and I have no doubt that it ill rise again.
I'm not sure how many times in the last year or so e have had these dips of at least $1,000 in value and then a rise. I don't track charts and haven't learned to forecast but what I do know is I always have the itch to trade my liquid steem for btc when it dips below $9,000 expecting to profit when it goes up over $9,000 but I've never taken the plunge.
If I'd followed my gut each time over the last year I would have profited but instead I just sit on the sidelines and observe. I cant be sure why but it probably has something to do with the fact that I turned about $4000 worth of BTC into around $1,000 worth of steem and am afraid to abandon a portion of my steem to chase a profit that I will ultimately lose if I make a move.
In the past year I have not powered up my steem and am sitting on 1700 liquid steem. Is it time to buy btc with it or just remain in steem hoping to get back to $.20 & $.30 etc?
I love steem and have no emotional attachment to btc but don't want to just be a stupid homer holding onto my favorite crypto. You'd think buying btc at $8100 with 1700 over my 6500 total steem wouldn't be so tough but I find myself not wanting to do it.
Any thoughts, advice or concerns in the comments would be greatly appreciated.
