This has been truly the craziest week I've ever seen in Crypto and I've been around since 2013. I haven't been making money since 2013 but that is when I mined my first bitcoin and lost the wallet.
It's also the year I bought btc out of a bitcoin ATM and lost the receipt. Well, I'm probably the dumbest guy in crypto for an OG but technically I'm an OG.
What I learned from my mistakes was all rectified when I found Steemit in early 2017. ( I can't believe I just said that) But hear me out.
I found the most important aspect of crypto adoption at steemit and that was Community. It was the world worst crypto community but I learned something.
I learned that steemit would never catch but that community is the most important aspect of adoption. Hive still has a chance, but a limited one.
What I'm getting at is the Dodge is stricly a victim of a strong community and a few lucky breaks. XRP has a rabid community and they fiercly protect against the idea that XRP sucks.
Both of these cryptos have proven this week that community is the driver of success. It doesn't matter that Dodge was a joke. It was a good joke and now there are going to be teenage Lambo owners texting and driving all over the place.
Hive is a great blockchain. That doesn't always matter. Hive has a community but a disjointed one but has no presence on Reddit or TikTok. Even very few crypto people know about it. This is our biggest problem.
Can you imagine that dumping all of your hive earnings for dodge after every post would have turned out to be the right move? Ridiculous!
So what are we going to do about it? Probably nothing and we won't ever amount to much. But TikTok, Reddit & Youtube Super Chats on Crypto Influencer's livestreams would be a start, middle and finish!
