So I sold the Pump yesterday at about $.41 and now the price is up to $.51 . So was I wrong?
I hope the price goes to the moon because I have my staked hive locked up, but I wanted to take some profit. And since my hive was a free gift for toiling away on steem for 3 years I felt I was just lucky to have it.
But selling a day early cost me $370. So should I be upset or be happy with the .2 btc I earned from my savvy move.
Keep in mind that I watched steem go from $7 to $.10 over 3 years so I know what it is like to watch the bottom fall out so $.41 and a 4x in 2 days seemed like an opportunity I couldn't pass up on.
But I ask you this? Is Hive a real value for investors right now? Are people buying in because it is the greatest blockchain ever or are they buying because of the new access to the token on 2 new exchanges.
I say it is the latter and the price will correct. What makes Hive so much better today than it was 1 week ago? I know there is great tech here and a good but very small community behind it but has it reached a point where it appeals to the masses? I don't thinks so.
So tell me your thoughts on the price increase. Is it the new normal? Or is this just a fun pump to make every body feel reinvigerated about Hive.
If Hive has reached critical mass and is ready for adoption I should get a few hundred comments here but my guess is that I will get 1 or 2 at the most. Let's see.
Again, I have high hopes for hive but low expectations. Change my mind!
