I've been spending a lot of time thinking about HBD and the 20% offered over the last few weeks but I haven't gotten to experience this particular real-life scenario until now.

To actually maintain my value and add to it during a bloody week is a first for me and I have to say I like it. I had $2500ish sitting on an exchange doing nothing for me but feeling safe but I had all types of FOMO during that time.

When HBD presented itself I reluctantly dove in but have really loved it. I noticed straight away I was earning about 1 HBD per day in interest and I became obsessed with with watching accumulate as I approach my first claim day.

It's a somewhat gratifying gamification I must say and while it isn't a lot, I love it. I'm not worried about the price of hive and leo right now because it will bounce back. I'm not worried about not being liquid to buy the dip because I always screw that up anyway. I'm not a trader and after so many years of trying I don't even want to fake it.

I feel like I'm not skilled enough to make the most out of my cub/polycub experience but collecting interest is easy enough and it does feel like I'm in the game and accomplishing something.

The best part is that I don't feel that sense of loss as I used to when I saw my hive/leo value shrink quickly. No sense of dread over the last few days which makes me more convinced that HBD savings is a good place for me.

Im still not quite sure what to do with the new HBD that I will earn from rewards. It's possible that I will try to buy into hive but we are talking about pennies so it really won't matter much for me.

I wonder about what people with larger stakes are thinking and doing right about now. I'd love to hear about it in the comments. As well as, thoughts about HBD in general.
