Haven't forgotten the good old days when I was purely an amateur back here on the Hive, I didn't even flinch because we came in pairs. I still think that I have written this familiar post somewhere at the initials of my arrival in the middle of establishing my presence on the hive blockchain.
It was more like an online institution which at that time was solemnly responsible for making us outstanding students. But in this area of discipline, it was intense blogging! Imagine going to a physical school every day and doing all tasks given take-home assignments, and tutorials taught. Above all, there was a unique and rare connection that was built during the process of assimilating teachings even at each phase of learning, there is a time to evaluate us.
Everything was taught with love and caution, there was orderliness, there was punctuality and there were punishments until an unfortunate circumstance graced us unexpectedly. The platform on which we built our foundation collapsed, it was sold out by the organization and they left us motionless for a while.
Discord was the major home for all activities, if only Discord had a site we wouldn't have bothered at all. We felt the pause, the whole atmosphere remained in mourning that is what I will call it but not too long did we dwell in that period.
Light came in the morning and we got another wonderful site that had stood the taste of time, "Hive Blockchain"! I keyed into this platform to date.
WHAT I EXPECTED FROM HIVE THEN AND HOW IT HAS BEEN.
With the atmosphere of sobriety in the air after the defunct of the old site, it took strength and courage for the rest of us to stay active on #hive. And to date, that same set of individuals has been active on this platform.
With the experience of that defunct platform, I expected Hive to be like that since these good things don't stick around for so long. It happened with other platforms I have known too! Hive is so damn different you know?? I can't compare the experiences that I have had with Hive to those of other platforms. I feel at home with Hive and the fact that I could also earn passively here too is another huge bonus!
Hive has been advancing and features have been improving each day since I joined. We didn't have an online chat box when I came but now we do. Every single day with this platform has to have an achievement attached to it. Hive hasn't been my basic source of income but it can be for you if you take it so damn seriously. Ask anybody!
I would advise anyone considering taking Hive seriously to put out positive energy and genuine engagements and interaction. Hive doesn't tolerate plagiarism of any sort, no use of AI, and poor citations of information. You would have a reason to bring your folks to join you.
