Este juego cuenta con varios modos de combate que iremos desbloqueando a medida que vayamos recolectando trofeos por ganar encuentros, una vez que iniciemos el juego encontraremos un tutorial en el que nos explicarán los controles, que constan de dos sticks, una en el lado izquierdo para caminar, y otro en el lado derecho para atacar, también tendremos un poder especial que se recargará durante el juego, y para activarlo debemos presionar el botón amarillo.

En el menú principal tendremos diferentes opciones que van desde una tienda donde podremos comprar artículos con monedas que ganaremos en el juego o también pagando con dinero real, también podremos seleccionar nuestro personaje entre los diferentes Brawlers que tenemos desbloqueados, podremos agregar amigos, crear o unirnos a un equipo o club, con el cual tendremos disponible un chat para comunicarnos.
