I appreciate this poem because I identify that feeling of serenity that one sense during some afternoons after labor is done.
Being from the tropic, for 24 years I did not know the autumn, but then I moved to places where is very recognizable and still today I feel very amazed by the metamorphosis of the ecosystem during those times, and as you said, it is hard not to think about the senescence and time passing fast.
Still is very nice to take a moment to be quiet, sip some hot beverage, meditate, breathe in and out, and then keep going forward.
