Previous season has been very good for me. Not only I get two untamed booster pack from loot chest also get two more booster pack from leaderboard. When I opened my booster pack there was also one surprise as Dragon jumper a legendary card. Overall it was a fantastic season that I ended with gold League first. Although I was eligible for diamond League but did not skip for it. This is because my summoner and monster are not able to face maximum level card. Previous few post I made through video content but today going to make written post.
Now have a look on today's theme card.

OCTOPIDER

This is one of the most useful Rare ranged attack monster from Death splinter with 7 health at level-1

2. Rarity: RARE
3. Element: DEATH
4. ATTACK: RANGED
5. Price-$0.150
   ABILITIES:
6. Demoralize at level 3; that reduces the Melee attack of all enemy monster
7. Blind at level 7( All enemy Melee and range attack have chance to miss the target)
   It was 44 Mana battle game in which four splinter available to play. I chosen Death splinter because Octopider belongs to Death splinter.

Battle rule-

In this battle there was only one rule applied that was
Spreading Fury
It means all monster have enrage ability.

It was 44 Mana battle game, so there was plenty to choose some good card. I chosen 6 best card including one without attack that is lord Arihant, 2 magic attack, 1 Melee attack as sand worm and to ranged attack monster Octopider and grim reaper. Among these six card one heal tank. For the first place my choice was LORD ARIANTHUS.

This is my favourite one legendary monster having maximum ability like thorns, magic reflect, void, shield. As in this battle there was a rule restricted sneak and spine ability so there was much chances using magic and range monster from opponent.. like wise common and rare monster do not make much effect over this legendary monster.. that is why I placed it on front.

PRISMATIC ENERGY

It has been my favourite monster for a long time due to its magic reflect and void ability. This is a neutral rare monster from reward edition. I am using lord ARIANTHUS and PRISMATIC energy together since very long time. Together both became more effective

TORTISIAN CHIEF

This is one of the best neutral tank heal epic monster although its attack is weak yet it can be useful with any splinter. I do not want toose my Lord ARIANTHUS that is why to support it' I placed Tortisian Chief at third place. This monster played its role very well.

SAND WORM

This is super effective neutral monster with Melee attack ability. I always appreciate its utility that is enough to destroy opponent with 6 destroying power. Whenever I get chance to adjust this monster in the team definitely I will like to place it. This is my favourite one card. It destroyed opponent last card quickly that much helped me to back in the game.

GRIM REAPER-

This is today's theme card.
Its utility it is great in the team whenever we are going against heal tank team due to its affliction ability that's freeze the monster to heal. Range attack makes it more powerful. This is a reward edition card with rare rarity.. Definitely I would like to have this card in team at number 5.

• This is today's theme card. In this battle I lost this card in third round but before dying this card much damage done of opponent team. Being enrage battle rule this monster became more effective. Much helped to get rid from GELANTIUS cube. Although I was not willing to place it at last but there was no option. Finally I decided to place it at number 6 because of its good health that is eight. it was high Mana battle so there was much possibility that enemy team come with sand worm.

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
At initial time of splinterlands season, definitely I would like to make some experiment with the card but when I reached at last stage I mean whenever I be in leaderboard that time I never try to make any experiment. Beside it each time I read carefully battle rule before choosing summoner/card and placing my cards. Mostly time it depend on the situation that we have to do something different or not.

Do you like the OCTOPIDER? Why or why not?
Of course I like to use octopider because of it sharp deep attack. Whenever I get little high Mana battle definitely I would like to select in my team. Demoralize ability makes it more effective. In close range this monster always be useful.
