Splinterlands; weekly Battle mage secrets with Theme BACK TO BASICS

Hello splinterlands fam!
This is my weekly battle share challenge submission with the theme Back To Basics.

This battle rule set really tests our skills. Playing with all the cards without ability is certainly challenging. In which the player who selects the best team and puts them in the right place, get maximum chance to win.
One more thing I noticed today that there is another new battle rule set which I get today in the form of You are not Entertained
The owner of Gladiator cards will be happy to see this ruleset because there will be additional use of Gladiators card in daily battle. One day before I claimed my 48 season reward and I was happy to see some useful Soulbound Monsters, summoners, gold foil along with SPS, Merits and Alchemy/legendary portions. No doubt this season went good for me.

BACK TO BASICS

This battle ruleset is the part of gameplay and one have to perform well by using skill because in this ruleset we do not get `Buffs and Dbuffs` from monster. Yes we can use the Buffs of Summoners. This ruleset is simple. Either use high health monster or use Monsters with high attack/speed ability. Magic Monsters can be effective but there was no summoner with additional magic attack in My game wallet and only three splinter were active.

MY SUMMONER

There were two option for me: Either I can use Range reducing summoner or Range attack additional summoner. Only thee Splinter were active in the form of Life, water and Dragon. My priority was attack, so I chosen `General Sloan` as my summoner with additional Range attack. I was using 4 Range Monsters in this battle.

BATTLE RULESET AND MANA

It was just 23 Mana battle ruleset gameplay. There were 2 types of battle rules to play in this battle, the name of the first battle rule is Even Stevens. that means -Only Monsters with even Mana costs may be used in battles.

And the name of the second battle rule is `BACK TO BASICS` . This rule will cause all cards to lose their abilities. That is, none of his abilities will be of any use in this battle. Only three Splinters were active to play this battle, including Water Life and Dragon. Because of the back to basic rule, most people use magic attack cards or ranged attack cards from what I've experienced so far. Magic attack cards can attack from any position that is not obstructed by their ability. And ranged attack cards can attack from any space other than the first space. But if the melee attack card is used, then they only attack from the first position. Perhaps because of these reasons, people prefer range and magic attacks to play in this battle rule.

TEAM COMBINATION AND CARD SELECTION

It was 23 Mana battle gameplay with two certain ruleset Even Stevens and Back to Basics. Like wise I hardly use General Sloan summoner but for this battle I chosen General Sloan as my summoner with four Range attack Monsters.
It was just 23 Mana gameplay so I decided to use lowest Mana monster with pretty good health. Two from Monster Pelacor Conjurer and Dax Paragon providing 13 health in 4 Mana. Rest of the Monsters were Range attack ability. Out of them two monster were 4+ attack that going to increase their attack with General Sloan.

It was my team combination with which I was going to face my aponent. Now going to share step by step all these card's abilities and utility.

PELACOR CONJURING

In short, it's the best card in my opinion. it is 2 mana card. It has `3 abilities`, including ~flying` `magic reflect` and `divine shield` ability. In my opinion the best card here for the Back to the Basic Battle rules is because it has 8 health. Because back to the basic battle rule none of the card's abilities are used. That is, he only has the abilities given by the summoner or the abilities of the battle rules. That's why I put this card in the first place. That is, due to the back to the basic battle rule, all three of its abilities are of no use in this battle.

DAX PARAGON

DAX PARAGON is the best card because it has Amplify and Affliction ability, but its ability is useless because of its back to basic. Consists of two mana, does 1 magic attack with two speed, and has five health.I have used this card at level 6. I have put this card on the second position. Back to the basic battle rules, most people only use magic attack cards, so I used this card thinking the same. Because magic attack cards can attack from any position.

XENITH ARCHER

This card is also of two mana. Because only cards of even mana can be used in the battle rule. It performs two ranged attacks with three attacking speeds. I have used this card at level 5 .It has a total of 4 health. It doesn't have any kind of ability. I put this card on the third position. The ability of my summoner, General Sloan, increased its range to 3. That is, it is doing three range attacks in this battle.

PEACEBRINGER

PEACEBRINGER is my most dangerous and favorite card. Consists of 4 mana, makes 4 ranged attacks with 4 speed. It has 6 health. I have used this card at level 6. I put this card on the 4th position and because of my summoner Genral Sloan it is doing 5 range attacks in this battle. It does not have any ability of its own. Even if it were, it would be of no use because of the back to the basic battle rule.

EVANGELIST

This is another rare ranged attack monster from the Life unit. This monster comes with a decent 4 distance attack and 6 health. Its speed is slightly less but its role becomes important in the reverse speed battle ruleset. I was using this monster because of its very good attack. I was using level 6 monster and at this level this monster comes with inspire and snare ability. But due to the back to the basic battle rule, both of these abilities are of no use in this battle, that is, it does not have any abilities in this battle. I put this monster at number 5 to have enough attack opportunities.

SILVERSHIELD ARCHERS

I used to this card also with even mana i.e. two mana. Performs a ranged attack with two attacking speeds. It has a total of 2 health. This card is used at level 6. This card has two abilities, the first is SNIPE and the second is DOUBLE STRIKE. But due to the BACK TO THE BASIC BATTLE RULE, both these abilities are of no use in this battle. Only Genral Sloan's ability increased its range attack. It is doing 2 ranges in this battle, I have put this card at the end.

DO I LIKE TO BATTLE WITH BACK TO BASICS? WHY OR WHY NOT?

It always be interesting to battle with some particular battle ruleset. Everyone knows that it is a battle ruleset and it comes occasionally not every time so it can be said it always be interesting to execute our strategy and plan in such battle ruleset.
Broken Arrows, Stampede, Lost magic, Back to Basics, Keep your distance, Silenced Summoner and Up to close and Personal are such battle ruleset where needs special ability to choose appropriate battle squad..In case of Back to Basics I like this battle ruleset because here we get chance to show our wisdom to select perfect team combination..

DID MY STRATEGY WORKED WELL? WILL I TRY DIFFERENTLY IN NEXT TIME?

I was looking for a battle in which I can give my best and Back to Basics was the appropriate battle ruleset to show the real talent of my wisdom. It was just 23 Mana Battle game rule set so, my priority was to use lowest Mana monsters with pretty good health monster. Pelacor CONJURER was fit in such ruleset, so I placed it at first position.
Second position monster was also with two mana with five health in the form of Dax Paragon. Third position was also for another two Mana monster with four health. It means in six Mana there was 17 health. Rest of the Monsters were for attack.
I was using General Sloan so I was using four monster with Range attack. Out of them two monster were with 5 Range attack. Finally I won this battle just losing Three Monster from my side. So I can say my strategy and plan worked well. Yes I will try differently in next time with different battle ruleset.
