Splinterlands: Weekly Battle mage secrets submission with the Theme Broken Arrows

Hello splinterlands gaming fans!

This is my weekly battle share challenge submission with the theme Broken Arrows

Today I was thinking about Bloodlust ability. You must have noticed that most of the abilities like Poison, Thorns, Enrage,Magic Reflect, Return Fire and many more abilities we are getting in battle rules at but still we are away from bloodlust in the ruleset. The day is not so far when we will be able to battle with bloodlust ability without Gladius cards.
Although there are a couple of the monsters beside Gladius having bloodlust ability, still we have to wait for bloodlust ability in normal gameplay ruleset. Anyway I am going to share my battle without range attack Monsters. Anyway it becomes a little easier when we have to set up our team only for Melee and magic monster. It means in this battle we are not going to get help from range attack.

THEME

BROKEN ARROWS
	Ranged Monster have to be hopeless in this battle rules because there will be fully off colour to use Range Monsters. One have to battle with Magic Monsters and Melee Monsters

The rule set is very simple, the role of Ilthan, Deepswimmer , General Sloan and Selenia sky will be off colour.

DELWYN DRAGONSCALE as MY SUMMONER

After a long time I am going to use Dragon magic as an additional common summoner. I have heard that lots of people say that Dilwyn is a common summoner in 5 mana then why its price and rent market is very high. Once you understand that it is a dragon summoner and with it one can use any splinter. That's why it's prices high rather than other common monsters and summoners. It is a 5 Mana common Monster that provides a single magic attack. For Brawl combat I rented couple of Magic Monsters that's why I chosen Delwyn as my summoner. Finally I decided to use magic additional summoner in Broken Arrows battle ruleset.

BATTLE RULESET AND MANA

It was 49 Mana game play, so there was plenty of option to choose high Mana Monsters in Broken Arrows rule set. First I wanted to use Thorn ability Monster at front and last position due to Amplify ruleset but at the last moment changed my strategy and decided to use magic reflect Monster at front position. Taunt ability monster could be fetal due to Fury battle ruleset. Finally I setup my team combination for a magic attack.

Broken arrows
Range attack monsters will not be available for battle, one have to battle with Melee attack and magic attack.

Up To Eleven
All monsters have Amplify ability and will support to magic reflect and Thorn ability monsters.

Ferocity
All Monsters will get Fury ability and will do double damages to taunt monsters.

TEAM COMBINATION AND CARD PLACING

I was looking for a balanced team in broken arrows battle ruleset. Range attack were in off color, so it was an important aspect to choose monster and summoners according to battle ruleset. This time I decided to use Magic additional Dragon summoner Delwyn with maximum magic monsters. I could not use Taunt monsters due to battle ruleset so there was fear from Melee opportunity monsters. Often players use Kelya Frendul with Deeplurker and Kullu mastermind opportunity monsters. When I checked opponents recently played team then there was Dragon summoner Davious was used often with Life unit. To support them, my position team was using a couple of Magic Monsters but there were no opportunity Melee monsters.
So I set up my team with magic Monsters including Blast ability Dragon monster Chaos Dragon. For first position traditionally I placed Lord Arianthus and at last position I placed Doctor Blight. I was using only single Melee opportunity monster Deeplurker.

It was my battle line up. I was using for legendary monster in this battle. Two legendary from Dragon unit and two legendary from neutral unit. And now I am going to talk briefly about these monsters.

LORD ARIANTHUS

This is my best and favorite card from Neutral Element. It's name is Lord Arianthus. This legendary card does not have any attack abilities.I was using level 3 of it. It has four abilities of its own. Which is enough to win any battle. Its Shield, Void, Magic Reflect and Thorns ability is sufficient for a normal battle lineup. It is only five mana. There is one speed and it has a total of 8 health. I placed this card in the first position. With the Shield ability, it reduces the damage of Melee attacks from the opposition team. It's void ability, reduces magic attack.

VOID DRAGON

It is like a discovery for me as I lost so many battles in front of this legendary monster. It's Void and Phase disturbed me a lot so I purchased it and upgraded into label 3. Due to its Flying, Phase and pretty good speed enemy attack miss the target many times. It is a five Mana Chaos Legion legendary Monster from Dragon unit. At level 3 we get Void, Flying and Phase ability. At level 3 it provides single magic attack with 5 speed. In 5 Mana we get 9 health that is really good. Likewise it is front position monster but due to Lord Arianthus in battle squad I placed it at second position.

CHAOS DRAGON

This is a 14 Mana giant legendary monster from the Dragon unit. It is a product of Chaos Legion Edition. It's Mana is a little high but it was 49 mana gameplay, so it was adjustable in battle squad. This Monster comes with pretty good 10 health and 4 armor. At level 3 we get three magic attacks and 3 speed including scattereshot, flying, blast and blind ability. At Max level we get one more ability slow. It was the second magic Monster that I was using in Broken Arrows ruleset. Most of the time I like to use this dragon legendary monster in high Mana gameplay.

NERISA TRIDAWN

This is an Epic card from the Water unit. We do not get any ability inside this Monster rather we get a pretty good magic attack. I was using an additional magic summoner, so it's 5 magic attacks was going to be useful for me. It is a 9 mana monster with 5 magic attacks, 3 speed and 11 health at max level. I was using level four of it so I was going to use 5 magic attacks including summoner buffs. I rarely use this monster as I hardly use magic additional summoner. I placed this Monster at sixth position to use it's pretty magic attack.

DEEPLURKER

This is my favourite one opportunity Melee monster. I like this common Monster very much because of its opportunity and Poison ability. It is a 6 Mana water unit card that's provides five Melee attack and 4 speed. I was using level 8 of it and at this level it provides 6 health. It was the single Melee Monster that I was using in broken arrows battle ruleset. I was careful taking the low health base monster with Tank Heal of opposition team that so I given place in battle squad. You will see that it's rule was great in this battle despite magic Army.

DOCTOR BLIGHT

This is a Legendary Neutral card. I was using level 3 of it . It only costs 4 mana, does two magic attacks with one speed, and has only four health. I found this to be the most dangerous card in a little League battle. It has a total of 4 abilities. Its abilities are Affliction, Camouflage, Poison and Scavenger. In affliction ability, when a card with Affliction ability attacks a card of the opposing team, then Affliction is applied on it, then that card will not be able to increase its health. Due to the Camouflage ability, no card of the opposing team will attack it unless it is in the first position. Attacks in the Poison ability have a chance to apply poison, which does automatic damage to the target at the beginning of each round. With the scavenger ability, any card of the opposition team or my team will be eliminated, then it will increase its health. So it was my team combination with that I was facing a strong opposition team.

DID MY STRATEGY WORKED WELL? WILL I TRY DIFFERENTLY IN NEXT TIME?
This time I was ready with my magic additional summoner and magic attack. So I could not make any plan against Melee opportunity monsters. Fortunately my position team was using two Melee monster including one opportunity and one front monster. Opportunity Monster was having just two Melee attack, so it was not going to much harmful as I was using high health Monsters. Rest my strategy worked very well. Choosing Lord Arianthus was a wise decision. Using maximum magic Monsters strategy worked very well. Single opportunity Monster Deeplurker did it task very well. Doctor Blight Afflicticted Uriel The Purifier and rest of the task finished by magic army. It was a battle set up against armor base monster that worked very well. When I finished the game that time 3 Monsters were remaining from my side. So I can say that my strategy and plan worked very well. Yes next time I will do some change according to new battle ruleset.
