On my trip to Colombia 3 years ago I ran into different people who called us cowards because we didn't remove the current government. That really angry me. But I explained to them the situation that it was not just us against the president. It is us against the president, the military, the criminals who are given weapons to kill us, the "opposition" politicians who have dirty business with the government and the governments of other countries that have investments here and steal or take our wealth daily. So then they understood why we couldn't remove this government only ourselves and they were more empathetic. And bro, thanks for having that stereotype about us!
