Okay, I get the hard forking 19 has made dramatic changes to voting and we're all now on the way to riches beyond our wildest Ramen noodle flavourings, but the reputation? Why does it never move?

I have OCD and 48 is just bloody uncomfortable.
50 would be totally tolerable and if it stuck there i might be a happy chappy but 48 is doing my box in
If there is some sort of reputation fairy that changes it, please don't change it to 51. I don't think I could handle 51 as long as I've had to suffer 48.
I know there's some major maths, algorithms and the selling price of Haddock in Whitby involved in this somewhere but for the life of me I have no idea how it all works.
