This is my first post in this community.
This is a collection of shots I have taken in the garden at the back of my house these last few months.
This first shot was taken in mid May around the time of my mothers birthday. We had wine in the garden and lit the chimenea. I love the reflection of the bamboo screen in this shot and the bright orange glow from the fire as well as the fires upside down reflection in the wine glass.
A shot of the pond and waterfall.
One of our cherry blossums in full bloom , this one was also taken in May.
A lovers statue and 2 garden gnomes.
A beautiful pink flower on what I think is an orchid?
I don't know the name of these red flowers but they make for some wonderful compositions with the pond and Lillie pads in the background.
My 2 year old niece has put a toy duck in the pond...
I love the way the light is hitting these flowers in this shot.
In this close up we can see some spiders webbing

A close of pine cones on our Scots pine , rubbing ones fingers on them gives of a wonderful aroma from the pine sap.
Icicle and snow flake decorations left on this tree from Christmas.

Im not great with names of flowers , this is a Lilly right?
And these are lotus blossoms?
I have no idea what this one is.
I also dont know what these beautiful little lemon yellow guys are called.
Agian I dont know the name but I love the vibrant yellow in this shot.
Any ideas what this flower is called? Its unique look makes for a wonderful composition.
This is my favourite flower in the whole garden ,just look at that wonderful violet hue.
A couple of shots of the various fairy gardens that we have here, this first one has more of an Asian inspired theme.
This last shot shows the garden at dusk in mid May.
