Hi Everyone
Thank god its Friday and thank god for Tennesse Whiskey.
These last couple of days Ive been trying to sing this beautiful little country song by Chris Stapleton.
I had a few mouthfuls of Jack Daniels and Coke before diving into this tune.I figured it would be fun to try it with smokey whiskey soaked vocals.
"Tennessee Whiskey"
Chris Stapleton
Used to spend my nights out in a bar room
Whiskey was the only love I've known
But you rescued me from reachin' for the bottom
And brought me back from being too far gone
You're as smooth
As Tennessee whiskey
You're as sweet
As strawberry wine
You're as warm
As a glass of brandy
And Im stoned on your love all the time
I've looked for love in all the same old places
Found the bottom of the bottles always dry
But when you poured out your heart I didn't waste it
'Cause there's nothing like your love to get me high
You're as smooth
As Tennessee whiskey
You're as sweet
As strawberry wine
You're as warm
As a glass of brandy
And Im stoned on your love all the time
Oooh ooh ooh
Tennessee whiskey
Tennessee Whiskey
Tennessee Whiskey
Oooh ooh ooh
Tennessee whiskey
Tennessee Whiskey
Tennessee Whiskey
