Its report card day last Friday. Parents are invited to meet face to face with teachers to discuss on the progress of their children's education.
I was a bit worried with my result as I didn't really study before the exam. My mum kept nagging me to study whenever she sees me holding my handphone. I know I shouldn't waste my time looking at my phone but my friends keep texting me to chat. I also wanted to see the latest update of my Korean BTS group and my games need to be updated. Sometime whenever I start reading the book I started to get sleepy.
Last semester I passed the exam with flying colours and I was number 4/180 students. This second semester I'm still in top ten, 7/180 students. The subjects are getting harder and confusing and of course, it's my fault for not managing my time to study.
My teacher told my dad to encourage me to do more readings especially in Bahasa Malaysia. Can you believe it? That's my daily language and yet I'm still weak in this subject. My Maths result is even better than this subject.
When my teacher said that to my dad, he just keep it cool. I remembered he once told me, as long as I pass every subjects in school, he's okay. Yeah...that's my cool dad. As for my mum, well... she's not satisfied with my result as some of my grades went down. She said "Itu lah terlampau pigang handphone" means spent too much time with the handphone.
I'm not happy too and I'll try to keep my grades up in the third semester. Chayo chayo!
