I have, and I often still do. Mostly to family members back at home in South Africa, for their birthdays or other special occasions. I just feel like it has a more personal touch to it than sending a text or giving them a call. I usually take my time writing them neatly in cursive, and I always feel proud of how nice it looks when I'm done with it. Classic ink on paper still has its place!
