It was a great night to have a short bond with my sisters. We are all in our forties. lol
My "ate" lives an hour from town. She came home to bond with us because one of my sisters came home from a faraway city, a 4-hour drive.
In our mom's store, we talked about how our day went. What should my sister sell next door? We also helped mom and attended to the customers.
We went to McDonald's before taking her to the bus terminal. We choose which food to order and dine inside.
It is already late, about 11:00 in the evening and we are now heading to the bus terminal. This one sister of mine is a very skilled driver. We can always count on her for sudden trips and long-distance travels. She's really good at driving—even though she never even went to a driving school! She's incredibly determined. While driving, we talked about how my health is doing, and they want me to avoid staying up late and not to stress myself out.
We wanted to see if the wine shop is still open, but all are closed, so I just took a photo instead. I like this arcade. There are many shops and restaurants, like Japanese, Chinese, and Thai. I always shop for second-hand clothes in one of the shops here.
The road looks peaceful and quiet. This isn't a very big city, so it gets quiet late at night. It's actually a good thing since it helps prevent disturbances, and the people seem to be disciplined. Police patrols make their rounds to enforce the curfew, inspecting and apprehending those drinking on the streets. This is a proper implementation by the local government to maintain peace and order.
We have arrived at the Bus Terminal. I want to share my frustration about what I’ve seen and observed here at our bus terminal. The smell and the stench hit you right away, and the building and the ceiling are already old. There’s a risk that it could collapse, even though it’s not necessarily dirty. It’s disappointing that the administration in charge hasn’t taken any action on why they won’t have it rehabilitated. This is a public terminal where people board buses to travel to various places. You feel embarrassed for the tourists and visitors who come here. It's disheartening.
I truly hope the local government will take action on this.
When you get inside, there are rows of vendors selling all kinds of food. There's also a spot on the side where drivers and passengers can have coffee and a meal. It's convenient for them since they don't have to go out or walk far, although there is a shop inside the terminal, but only one.
Buses are parked in front.
This is the bus going to Davao City but my sister will take this bus since it will pass the town where she lives. Woah, ten stops, that's the slowest bus she could ride but she won’t be passing by those places anymore since her trip home only takes an hour. I remember before, when I used to take this bus to Davao City—my goodness, it would take me 10 hours to get there! Sitting for that long was exhausting. That’s why now, whenever I travel to Davao, I choose to ride a non-stop bus.
There she goes...
My other sisters didn't get down because they are already tired.
Me and her
It was a nice bond with my sisters. It was short but sweet and fun. We may fight sometimes but we get over it and make up. My sisters are my best friends forever.
That is all for now. Thank you for swinging by my blog. To the next!
