The spring equinox, a new year, pisces season is over and the burning fire of new life in aries has begun. 2021 has been a year dominated by the sign of Aquarius, jupiter, saturn the planets of space and time have been having a party together in Aquarius. And the effects of the marking of new era and the great conjunction feels quite heavy and airy at the same time. Days feel excellarated and distracted by the over welhming over load of information fed to us through back lit screen that I can feel are sucking the life out of my visual cortex, taking me away from the sensational complexity of the tangible world around me.
Growing up in London meant I wasn't inherently adapted to understanding the natural world, but I always had a curiosity for nature. In the back yard I would turn over bits of logs to reveal a world of creepy crawling and creatures that look like something from a scifi alien movie. I would scare myself a little because I didn't understand what these bugs where or what they are there for. But I always kept going back to look at the bugs.
Its only been until very recently that I've fully understood how incredible each and every tiny insect is integral to a healthy and whole balance eco system. It even effects us directly. And as we totally wipe out every single bug and creatures, with the use of chemical pesticides and using leaf blowers, cutting lawns, logging and other destructive practices towards delicate habits and eco systems is directly destroying our ow health and existence.
I went for a walk and was surprised to see fresh lavender, ive rarely found it in this condition, normally ive seen it dry after a long summer, I took a few cuttings, I also stumbled across these wild carrots and the flowers which are edible too, all growing amongst the rock right on the sea front. The natural world is full of abundance, it is paradise and we humans are the toxic ones.

Bees are one of the most perfectly designed creatures yet are struggling to survive like this one I found struggling in the middle of the street. Human self indulgence is creating these problems and these problems effect us 10 fold. Thankfully aqaurius is dawning and its moving humanity into a more conscious state. I still can help feeling nostalgic for a time before we existed, a time when earth was an untouched paradise, when ancient trees were plenty, and rivers flowed with crystalline water, plants, birds animals and creatures live freely without encroachment from human interference.
