Bones festus translates as happy holidays in catalonia, Northern Spain,where I am right now, where ever you are I hope you are having a celestial time, whether you celebrate Christmas all not, this time of year is special for everyone the period around the solstice is a time for transformation and new beginnings.
I had a craving for banoffee pie, no idea why but I thought it be nice to make a vegan raw homemade treat for Xmas, I'm not a tradational person and I never liked Christmas pudding.
I'm also not a big presents person because in the past I felt programmed to just buy things because I was obliged and im sure others do to, which often results in giving and receiving a lot of title tatle that people don't like or want. Not to mention some of these gifts are bad for the environment.
When it comes to wrapping paper I will often reuse whatever I can from previous presents and try and be as conscious as possible about waste.
This year was pretty low key and relaxed which made Xmas really nice, tbh for me its kinda another day but its nice to mark the occasion with a nice meal and if possible some good company.
Though I know for many its not always possible, and it has been like this for me too, being forced to enjoy a day with narcissistic people can be hard to say the least.
