I've come to the conclusion that we are witnessing the consequences of the 100 year experiment of fiat money. And realistically I see bitcoin as the only option to replace it. Though the journey there will be rocky should that happen, or whatever else should take place. But the debt fueled spiral with fiat shenanigans isn't going to end up pretty and I suspect with countries, like US, in the end becoming insolvent under the debt they already have, they'll just devalue people's savings further.
