More pictures again today, now with some very photogenic autumn colors and views. Captured these yesterday when I was meeting a friend and chit chatting about life'n'stuff – young men figuring themselves out, and taking a little stroll outside for clarity in a particularly good October weather. It's actually my first autumn that I'm shooting with a DSLR, I realize, since I got my Nikon D5200 in last December from a friend as a gift, because he knew I do stuff here on Steem. It's hard to be objective of one's own work, but the feedback I've been given says that there's been a clear improvement during my possession of the camera.
I've gotten borderline obsessive about this stuff, adjusting nobs on editing table for hours on end – @eveuncovered calls it the "dark side". I still remember commenting on some Eve's post how I'm just fine with my simple smart phone camera. Couple weeks ago I ended up buying a telephoto lens from her.
What a fool I was.
I'm pretty happy to take those words back though, since this dark side has been treating me rather well. Ain't there ever a return to shooting regularly with a smart phone.
