Hoy quiero llevarte conmigo a mi segunda excursi贸n en Topes de Collantes, pero esta vez nuestro destino es "El Parque Guanayara", este significa agua de monta帽as.
Nos levantamos bien temprano para desayunar y esperar los camiones rusos que nos llevaron hacia el inicio del sendero.
Me puse muy feliz cuando lleg贸 el nuestro, no me aguantaba las ganas de comenzar la excursi贸n y lleg贸 un poco atrasado, lo que me ten铆a preocupada, hasta que al fin me mont茅.
Nos montamos todos, mientras la gu铆a nos dio una explicaci贸n muy interesante sobre el origen del lugar y las edificaciones que all铆 se encuentran.
Resulta ser, que la villa donde nos hospedamos (Villa Caburn铆) fue hogar de los m茅dicos que trabajaban en el Hospital fundado por Fulgencio Batista, que hoy es un hotel y tambi茅n un centro de Rehabilitaci贸n.
Las carreteras empinadas hicieron el camino muy emocionante, tal parec铆a que 铆bamos montados en una monta帽a rusa.
Paramos en la casa de un campesino a comprar man铆, c煤rcuma, caf茅, y yo me decid铆 por degustar una rica agua de coco.
Y seguimos monta帽a arriba, monta帽a abajo, hasta que por fin llegamos.
Parque Guanayara
De camino la gu铆a nos explic贸 c贸mo los campesinos siembran cierto tipo de 谩rboles para mejorar la producci贸n del caf茅, 煤nico de esta zona y que adem谩s es exportado hacia otros pa铆ses, catalogado como el mejor caf茅 de Cuba.
Estos gigantes bambus no son end茅micos de Cuba, pero la gente los utilizan mucho para hacer diferentes cosas, entre ellas tuber铆as. Nos llam贸 la atenci贸n el tama帽o y el grosor de los mismos, nunca los hab铆a visto tan grandes.
Esta linda cueva se encuentra justo antes de llegar a la cascada del Roc铆o, no entramos porque la gu铆a nos advirti贸 sobre la presencia de murci茅lagos y las enfermedades que transmiten.
El Roc铆o
Si ya me hab铆a gustado El Salto del Caburn铆, me termin茅 de enamorar de Topes, con esta cascada cuya agua fluye en forma de Roc铆o, de ah铆 su nombre.
Si te acercas lo suficiente a la cascada cae una peque帽a lluvia muy refrescante sobre ti, que en mi caso disfrut茅 mucho.
El reflejo del sol en las gotas de agua cayendo formaban un peque帽o vestigio de arco铆ris, si te fijas bien puedes verlo, intent茅 captarlo con la c谩mara del m贸vil, era precioso, casi m谩gico.
El Venao
Pero no nos detuvimos, seguimos hacia "El Venao" para darnos un chapuz贸n, aunque solo nos atrevimos los m谩s valientes, ya que el agua es bien fr铆a.
La gu铆a calcul贸 que estar铆amos poco tiempo en el agua y yo tambi茅n, lo confieso, porque de verdad que estaba s煤per fr铆a, pero a medida que le cogi el gusto no quer铆a irme. En fin, que fui la 煤ltima en salir 馃槄

On the way the guide explained to us how the farmers plant certain types of trees to improve the production of coffee, unique to this area and which is also exported to other countries, catalogued as the best coffee in Cuba.
These giant bamboos are not endemic to Cuba, but people use them a lot to make different things, including pipes. We were struck by the size and thickness of them, I had never seen them so big.
This beautiful cave is located just before reaching the Roc铆o waterfall, we did not enter because the guide warned us about the presence of bats and the diseases they transmit.
El Roc铆o
If I had already liked El Salto del Caburn铆, I fell in love with Topes, with this waterfall whose water flows in the shape of a dew, hence its name.
If you get close enough to the waterfall, a small refreshing rain falls on you, which in my case I enjoyed very much.
The reflection of the sun on the falling water droplets formed a small trace of rainbow, if you look closely you can see it, I tried to capture it with my cell phone camera, it was beautiful, almost magical.

But we did not stop, we continued to "El Venao" to take a dip, although only the bravest of us dared, because the water is very cold.
The guide calculated that we would be in the water for a short time and so did I, I confess, because it was really super cold, but as I got the hang of it I didn't want to leave. Anyway, I was the last one to leave 馃槄
