Hi fellow artists!
This is an oil painting that I've created last year. I started in spring when I was truly inspired by all of these beautiful colours and scents that nature offers during this time.
It took me quite a while to complete it because at some point I just couldn't figure out how it should evolve. I was constantly looking for ideas, really excited to find it out but then also frustrated because I got stuck.
After having some distance from it for multiple weeks, I tried to get new insights by sketching a new version and then finally I knew how to continue.
I love looking at the colours, it feels really soothing and healing to me. Watching it is so relaxing, it's like I'm taking a looong break! 🌸
