Hi @futuremind. Thank you for your transparency and sharing this post. I think the image fits very well the craziness one's mind can enter into, like different faces a moment can have in an individual experience. As someone who has suffered from PTSD and anxiety disorder as well as depression, I dove deep into that topic of mental health, psychology etc. in order to heal. And now I can say I have totally shifted my inner world and finally feel my true sense of being again. Getting in touch with my thoughts, my emotions, my subconscious, my desires, basically my whole being as well as grounding, breathing, connecting with nature, learning how to regulate and rewire my nervous system was crucial for that healing process to evolve.
You're making an interesting point with your topic of PMSD. I can relate to that yes, as a sensitive person I can easily pick up on other peoples energies. To be honest I don't believe that someone's traumas is forced onto me. I think in this case it is important to set boundaries and to be aware of what is actually mine and what is not. Also I think that this is always a great opportunity to look within and ask myself why is this person in my life in the first place? Because everything I experience in my life is based on choice, consciously or unconsciously chosen, and this is an important realisation because it is empowering.
When we're overwhelmed with other peoples emotions and traumas, we can be tempted to get in the state of victimhood and be paralysed. But the moment we notice that everything that occurs in the outside world also has it's counterpart in our inside world, change can happen. And this takes a certain level of awareness and honesty with ourselves.
There's much more to say but I think it's good for now. So what do you think about that?
I wish you a great day,
Cecilia 🌸
