I am familiar with a few (edible) mushrooms but I am not sure about this one. I would check it out first before eating. Toadstools (non-edible) like to grow in compost especially if it contains wood chips. We have many different varieties of toadstools here but not many mushrooms. They enjoy the humidity but not the high heat of our area.
