Fear and misinformation are running rampant. Here we have no information or false information. On one hand, we have no Covid here (not true) and on the other, we have somewhere near 32000 cases with 8000 deaths. Parents are being forced to send their kids to school. We have always homeschooled in our family and my sons have a firm stance on this. We have warring factions here, Some are not taking any precautions and others that are overboard. The monthly supply run was interesting. Our friend's car was stopped and we had to get out while they fumigated the car before we could continue on to town. Going into stores was an exercise in frustration. First, on with the mask. Then we had to have our shoes cleaned with disinfectant (bleach). Sinks with running water were set up just outside the door. Our hands were sprayed with disinfectants inside the door. Temperatures were taken and then we had to wait for the cart to be sanitized. No gloves, no service. And we were resanitized as we left. The choice was either to comply or have no supplies. We have no curbside pickup or delivery services here.

The latest news for is this morning is that Russia now has a huge new "vaccine lab" here in the capital. The government has already begun pushing for vaccines, going door to door, and telling folks they need to get the vaccines or face large fines and the possibility of spending time in jail.
