& checking in on the outdoor version! That stem is already much fatter than my thumb. I love watching them get big and girthy.
Here is a pic of my 140ish lb dog to give you a little perspective on the bed. I need to mow & weed a bit, but you can see the bed is taller than my dog & roughly 5 x 5 square. I used scoops of topsoil from the woods for the soil base last year & mixed in volcanic rock for aeration. Plus a few cheap amendments, kelp meal, alfalfa meal, glacial rock dust, crab meal, worm castings once a year, maybe some good compost on top soon. It is happy dirt, full of bugs & life big & small.
Dirtied up my steem shirt trimming today 😂 good time to smoke a joint of the lemon while taking a selfie with the big outdoor lemon
A close up of the trimmed lemon, not the visually most impressive bud, but the taste, smell, hi, & smoke-ability all rate extremely hi on my scale of what I love about cannabis. Tastes like sweet lime & lemon candy, smells like earthy lemon fruit, hi is deep & thorough without being functionally overpowering. Meaning I don’t feel the need to frequently smoke a lot of this weed as a little gets me feeling good & happily focused on what I’m doing. Nice relaxing body hi at higher doses.
This is a plant & a half trimmed, could’ve hung for another day or two, but I occasionally like to trim a little early so I can have a nice thorough taste test. Probably leave them in this sift box for a day or two to be nice & dry before jarring.
Time for me to smoke some more of the lemon & enjoy the relaxation dose!
