Turn your volume and bass up for this one! I let the big dog Bubba out for his morning perimeter sweep the other day & heard a coyote yapping at him from the woods. Caught a cool little video of them talking to each other, but the coyote split when I got close. Do you think that was a female coyote trying to bait him into the woods for an ambush? Or perhaps she is trying to get some alpha mastiff/coyote pups in her gut to rule them all!
Luckily, big Bubba's prime bred directive is to protect the yard so he doesn't run off. Cool to see those boerboel genes in action. Imagine if you heard that bark in the dark woods and very heavy footsteps running towards you, the best guard dog outside, and a little softy inside, A++ dog.
