Have you ever wondered why certain events seem more likely than others, even though, technically, they actually have the same probability? The probability of having a sequence of one hundred 1's when throwing 100 dice is exactly the same as the probability of having any other sequence of 100 numbers between 1 and 6. Yet the first one seems more unlikely than a more "random" sequence. What's the actual reason for this though?
