Five new investors joined the team by delegating to @cccf, and four increased the size of their previous delegations. Our total delegations now stand at 285,995 CCC from 21 delegators.

Market Updates

The purpose of the Creative Coin Fund is to provide the artists of Hive with a substantial CCC upvote, and to make that vote meaningful by supporting the steadily rising price of Creative Coin.

We're supporting the price of CCC with two mechanisms: the daily market purchase and the base buy-in order.

The daily market purchase is a market order for CCC of 10 to 15 Hive daily. This continues unchanged from last week.

The base buy-in order is a limit order meant to establish the price support for the market. We're raising the base buy-in price by 2 percent each week, on Thursdays.

We've made the daily market purchase every day since the Fund was established in May.

Last week, for the first time since we started placing it in June, the buy-in order was filled and off the market for about 12 hours early Thursday. Our policy for when the buy-in order is filled is to wait until our usual time Thursday afternoon to place a new order, but to still increase that new order by 2 percent.

Currently the market is outpacing our buy-in order! At press time the highest bid was .006310 Hive.

Delegation APR

We announced this last week in the Investor Report, but we'll include it again here in case anyone missed it.

The average Creative Coin price for the month of June was .005309 Hive, and it increased for July to .005831 Hive. Because the average price increased month-to-month, the annual percentage rate for CCC delegations to the fund will remain at 21 percent for the month of August.

The rate will be reviewed again on September 1.

Curation Efforts Expand

Two curators have joined the Creative Coin Fund team.

Last week, @jesuspsoto began work as our Spanish literature curator. He provided this biography as an introduction to the community. It has been edited and translated from Spanish with DeepL.

Jesús Pérez Soto lives in Guanare, Venezuela. He has worked as an elementary school teacher and as a literature professor at the Universidad Nacional Experimental de los Llanos Occidentales. He is a writer of short stories and poetry. In 2004, he won the Certamen Mayor de las Artes y de las Letras from the Venezuelan Ministry of Culture for his poetic work "Fragilidades," which was published by the editorial fund "El perro y la rana." He has been on Hive for 11 months; he publishes his literary creations in the Literatos, Cervantes, and Freewriters communities.

Already @jesuspsoto has proven adept at leaving insightful, engaging comments on the stories and poems he curates. The comments have been well received; not only is he providing great exposure for the Fund and Creative Coin, but he also is generating a new stream of revenue for the Fund through the votes his comments are getting.

Today, @elemarg25 began work as our photography curator. She introduces herself below. Her biography has also been edited and translated from Spanish.

Elena Margarita Hernández lives in Guanare, Venezuela. She has a degree in Integral Education. She has worked at the Plantel Integral Bolivariano para las Artes in Guanare as a dance teacher. She has taken photography courses with Venezuelan photographer Nano Baquero and photographer Sonia Jaramillo. She has been on Steem/Hive for three years; she publishes in the following communities: Rincón Fotográfico, Insects of the World, Writing Club, Let's Make a Collage, Shadow Hunters, CELF Magazine, Feathered Friends, Feel Good, Hive Pets, Foodies Bee Hive, Fungi Lovers, Hive Diy, and Photography Lovers.

Both our new curators will receive 1,000 CCC weekly for their work. And both have chosen to use 500 CCC of their payment to sponsor creative contests! @jesuspsoto has sponsored Extraño Concurso, a weekly short story contest hosted by @saulos, and @elemarg25 has sponsored Mi Día Tras La Lente, a new weekly photography contest in the Rincón Fotográfico community.

We love the generosity, and we love the promotion of #creativecoin. Both contests require that participants use the tag to be eligible for the Creative Coin award.

Along with adding curators to the team directly, we've also started an external curator sponsorship program. External curators are accounts dedicated to Creative Coin curation, but which operate independently. The sponsorship is 50,000 delegated CCC.

We delegated to the first external curator this week: @vagabondspirit, who is dedicated to upholding the original intent of #creativecoin by upvoting original art work only.
