Original Sunset landscape Painting with Acrylic

Hello Everyone, Welcome to my blog! I going to share my original painting I created today. I loved painting peaceful sunset scenery. so, I made a tutorial to impart my knowledge for this community. I encourage those who aspire to learn how to paint and develop their skill.

In this traditional painting with acrylic I am going to share the step by step process I went through on how to paint using basic fundamental technique. I used four types of acrylic paint colors and three different types of brushes. Since this a small canvas, It took only thirty minutes to finish this painting.

Materials needed:
👉 Watercolor Paper or soft papers
👉 Acrylic Paint
👉 Ruler
👉 Pencil and Erazer
👉 Brush
👉 Tissue Paper
👉 Clean water
👉 Lemon Yellow
👉 Titanium White
👉 Scarlet
👉 Black

Brushes:
👉 Flat Brush /small #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
👉 Round Brush #8 / 5/32" / 4.0mm
👉 Liner Brush #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
note: Keep all the materials ready before you start painting.

Painting Process:The first thing I do before I start painting, I make an outline or sketch of my painting reference. You can use pencil in doing it.

I Started painting the background with lemon yellow, scarlet and titanium white and blend them together by making an illusion of a sunset scene with a vibrant colors of the setting sun. I used flat brush for this part.

After painting the background, I started painting the water, this will serve as my middleground, the same colors with the background I painted the water. ( lemon yellow, scarlet titanium white) I put water reflection to make the painting alive. I used flat brush for this part.
For the trees, first thing I did is to paint the distance trees, then paint the closest trees.
The element of the photo closest is called a foreground. I used round brush for the trees and liner brush for extta details like tree limbs and grass.
