Hello everyone!
My Father passed away yesterday, April 29, 2018. Around 5pm. (Chronic kidney failure stage 4) The gradual loss of kidney function.
Losing a Parent can feel like losing part of yourself. Specially a parent that you look up to. You feel hurt and loss. The last chapter of his life may comes to end, but I believe this is also the first chapter in eternity.
The important message here is, there's no such thing here on earth that are eternal, Everything shall pass away. Earthly life is a supreme gift, but it comes with no assurance that it will be pain-free. Therefore we cannot rely our hopes on it, but rather on things that are eternal and invariable.
Actually I was hesitant to post this article but my heart keeps telling me to share this to the steemit community. Two things I want to consider:
One is asking prayer to my family during this overwhelming grief. This time of loss we will be comforted and learn to accept. And the strenght of the lord will uphold us during this trying times.
Secondly, Life on earth is a temporary assignment. We were not made to last forever. God created us and put us here at a specific time to carry out an assignment. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever.” We will never feel completely satisfied on earth, because we were made for more.
Please pray for us!
Thank You for all the Supports!
