Hello Hiver friends. I wish you are well today. Welcome to a new painting tutorial lesson. I will be sharing to you today on how to paint "Forest Landscape" in acrylic medium.
This lesson is perfect for an absolute biginners because I am going to show the step by step painting process. I posted photos as much as I can, so that you can follow the progression of the painting.
Materials
Watercolor paper
• Pencil and Erazer
• Clean water
• Rag
•Flat Brush/small - #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
• Liner brush - #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
• Round brush - #8 / 5/32" / 4.0mm
• Titanium White
• Grass Green
• Burnt sienn
• Cobalt Blue Hue
• Lemon Yellow
• Mars Black
Methods:
1.First you have to make an sketch to your subject and analyze it. That is the first thing I do before I start doing my painting.
2. Paint the background using white and blue. The easiest way to paint for the sky in a small canvas is flat brush.
3. You can paint the distance trees using blue and white and small amount of black. You can use round brush. Remember the closer is the trees the darker is the color.
3. Painting the pine trees, you have to paint first the shadow area, I used grass green for the leaves then the highlights is yellow and white. You can use liner brush or round brush.
4. For the foreground the first layer is green the highlights is yellow. In Painting water in an open landscape, usually blue and white is always used. At this point you can use flat brush.
5. I just added some rocks, I used burnt sienna for the rocks. for the final touch definitely detail brush is always use like by adding details or fine details.
