Hello Hiver friends, Welcome to my blog. I will be sharing with you today on how to paint Autumn tree step by step. Many artist wants to paint autumn tree or autumn landscape because they enjoyed the vibrant colors and the strong saturated colors. Personally I cannot deny the beautiful autumn scene is very captivating.
In this article you are going to learn basic painting leasson using acrylic paint. This is an easy beginners painting tutorial.
Materials
• Watercolor paper
• Pencil and Erazer
• Clean water
• Rag
• Green Mid
•Yellow Ochre
• Brilliany Red
• Burn Sienna
• Lemon Yellow
• Titanium White
• Mars Black
• Round brush - #8 / 5/32" / 4.0mm
• Liner brush - #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
• Filbert brush
Methods:
1. Make sketch to your subject.
2. Mix the brown, black and small amount of yellow ochre, then start painting the tree trunks and branches, using round brush.
3. Mix the brilliant red and yellow ochre, then paint the leaves in shaddow using filbert brush.
4. For the highlights, mix the lemon yellow , small amount of brilliant red and titanium white using filbert brush.
note: You have to paint the area where the sunlight comes.
5. Tree trunks and branches hightlights you can use yellow ochre and titanium white.
6. For the foreground, the paint that I used is brown and black for the first layer, the highlights is mid green and lemon yellow and a touch of yellow ochre.
7. For the finishing touch you can used liner brush. putting extra details by creating limbs of the tree and grasses.
