I used nine sets of colors of acrylic paint and four types of painting brushes. It took me one hour to finish this painting.
Materials Needed:
👉 Acrylic paper pad
👉 Pencil and eraser
👉 Ruler
👉 Clean Water
👉 Rag
👉 Paper napkin
Brushes:
👉 Liner Brush
👉 Filbert brush
👉 Flat brush
👉 Round brush
Acrylic Paint:
👉 Titanium white
👉 Ultramarine blue
👉 Mars black
👉 Yellow ochre
👉 Lemon yellow
👉 Burnt sienna
👉 Brilliant red
👉 Orange
👉 Green mid
Basic Painting Procedures:
Background/sky: Titanium white, and Ultramarine blue.
Brush: Flat brush
Middle ground:
Distant mountain: blue, green mid, yellow, and some white
Brush: Filbert brush
Trees in front of the mountain: brilliant red, and orange with highlights of yellow and white.
Foreground:
Closer trees - Mars black and burnt sienna for creating the tree trunks with the highlights of white.
Brush: Round brush
Leaves: Brilliant red, orange,
Highlights: yellow and white.
Brush: Filbert brush
Water: white and blue
brush: Flat brush
Liner brush/extra details: tree limbs, grass, water lines, and water ripples.
To make the painting alive I suggest putting water reflections.
