Greetings to everyone! I wish you are well! In today's post, I painted another nature landscape in acrylic medium. I called this painting "A Place To Ponder" It took me one hour to finish this painting.
I am going to show you the basic techniques of how to paint a natural landscape.
Materials Needed:
👉 Acrylic paper pad
👉 Pencil and eraser
👉 Ruler
👉 Clean Water
👉 Rag
👉 Paper napkin
Acrylic Paint:
👉 Titanium white
👉 Ultramarine blue
👉 Mars black
👉 Burnt sienna
👉 Grass green
👉 Green mid
👉 Lemon yellow
👉 Yellow ochre
Paint the sky with white and blue, you can use the flat brush and blend it well.
Paint the distant object like trees and bushes, you can use grass green, yellow, and a touch of yellow ochre. You can paint those distant objects with a filbert brush.
For the big trees just mix the burnt sienna and black, then start creating those trunks using the round brush. The highlights of the tree trunks are white.
In creating those tree limbs, a liner brush is a perfect brush.
For the leaves of the trees you can mix the black and grass green, then the highlights are yellow And yellow ochre. The brush that will work out is a filbert brush.
Lastly, put some extra details on the water, like water reflections, water lines, twigs, bushes, and grasses.
This is the finished and final artwork.
