While walking along the beach I found a chuck of milky and rose quartz (on the left) and sea glass (on the right). In the beginning sea glass starts out as a broken shard of glass from a bottle, glassware or from shipwrecks. The glass is weathered down by the sea over 30 to 40 years, sometimes a 100 years. It's appearance has a frosted look with smooth over edges. I used to have a small collection of sea glass but I don't know where it ended up. Every piece of glass has a certain piece of history behind it.
