Innocent and blank.
She is trained,
Groomed to serve,
This is her life,
Choose or not.
Society has decided.
Her life is not her own.
First her parents
Next her husband,
Then her children.
Giving her all, and society
Oh society still holds strict rules over her head.
Her path is cut out,
Follow she must.
She studies,
She marries,
She get pregnant,
Then labour to born.
She stays awake day and night alike,
Breast feed she does.
Food she cooks.
Home she tidies,
If she is lucky it it appreciated,
If she is not we know how the story goes.
Most times all alone,
Support and comfort she provides.
A life saver she is.
In life she is built strong,
Trained to be fragile,
Second class citizen she is often considered
Sickened and weak, she persist.
No protection
No attention.
Still she tarries
Family she put first,
Love undiluted she dishes out.
Children her pride,
Husband her master.
Oh dear WOMAN, you are indeed strong.
