Yearning for summer shadows on a rainy day. Entry for the Shadow Contest/SMASh 243

It has been a month since autumn entered; however, until this weekend, in the area where I live in Spain we were still enjoying an almost spring-like weather, with temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius, just a few drizzles that allowed me to do almost any outdoor activity and in the mornings I could enjoy some splendid sunshine that allowed me to go out to hunt for shadows for this community.

Yesterday at sunset, it started to change and the storm clouds have come in with a vengeance. First, late in the day we had strong winds with gusts of 100 km / h and then a rainy night and today all morning the atmosphere is gray and sad.

So, today I find myself longing for the summer days full of sunshine when I could hunt shadows for this community and as a result writing this post is an escape from the longing, since in the month of August I took advantage of many of my walks to hunt shadows in abundance and to contemplate them and give color to these gray days in the absence of sun and shadows.

The shadows that I share with you today and that are helping me to have a little light on this day, were caught in the garden of a neighbor of mine about 200 meters from my house. This neighbor's lawn is always impeccable and his decorative trees are very well cared for. At the same time, that August afternoon the sun was very intense and had a perfect inclination to provide very nice shadows with the trees.
