Good morning to you,
This week I am in the Portuguese city of Porto working. All week it has been raining and with the time change it gets dark at 17:30 pm approximately. That's why I could only take advantage of today to walk around the historic center because I have finished my work a little earlier than expected and the weather has finally allowed me to enjoy the city and the sun.
One of the areas I like the most in this city is the surroundings of the cathedral, the Luis I bridge, San Bento train station, etc.
In view of the participation in the #pobphotocontest organized by
@friendlymoose, in which this week one must participate with a photo taken in "look up" I decided to take a few pictures of the cathedral of oporto and the pillory that is next to it for what I was provided with my smartphone and a fisheye lens from Selvim that I have recently bought.
Initially, I took a photograph of the Porto pillory in "look up" shot. As expected, directly with my cell phone the spire was cut off if I wanted to photograph the top of the monument. Therefore, I attached my fisheye lens and with it I was able to take a complete "look up" perspective.
Then, after a few minutes, I managed to make some space to take a complete picture of the cathedral and the pillory with the people sitting there to contemplate the city. The shot is not totally "look up", so I put my fisheye lens back on the cell phone and got a "look up" picture of the pillory and the cathedral which I am submitting to the contest.
Best regards.
Own photograph taken with my iPhone SE and fish eye Selvim lens.
