My entry to Qurator's Photo Quest | Lens Flare

Hi,

Not many weeks ago, on a Sunday afternoon, I took a walk near my mother's house along trails that led me to beautiful cliffs in my beloved Asturias.

My adventurous spirit encouraged me to go into the forest to feel nature closer to me and to feel more alive.

However, sadness also flooded me to see part of the forest destroyed by a fire in the past with a multitude of dry and broken trees around.

The roar of the sea breaking the waves against the rocks made me lose my sadness and recover my smile as I saw Mother Nature lamenting the destruction of nature that I had brought upon her by human beings.

But there is still hope, spring, time of resurgence, is near, as I could see in the branches of the pines.

I returned back to the trail through the bush while he made his way through the trees to show me where to step and be my guide.

Until I reached the beach of Pormenande, where I once went fishing with my father and the good memories with him made me smile with joy.
