Hi friends, I hope you are enjoying a good week. First of all, I want to say congratulations from my post to the winners of round 157 of the Love the clouds contest organized by
@tobetada every week.
I leave here the link for those who want to review the contest rules and choose to participate.
Last week, I was on the island of Tenerife (Canary Islands) working at the University of La Laguna.
Despite the large number of working hours, I was able to make several visits on the island and one of the must-sees is to go to the Teide National Park, where the king is an imposing volcano of more than 3700 meters of altitude.
When I arrived on Friday, I returned back to my homeland. The day in the northern part of the island was gray and rainy, with a sky completely covered with gray clouds and fog. My flight left around 14:00 hours for Asturias. I was fortunate to be as on the outward journey next to the window.
Once we started to ascend, we were going through a lot of clouds and suddenly we found a blue sky and when we looked back a little bit the glorious volcano of 3750 was towering over a beautiful blanket of clouds around it.
This combination of clouds and volcano bring together in one image three of my passions which are:
Photography.
Teide Volcano.
Clouds.
Have a nice weekend.
