I don't think A.I. will replace digital artists in a way that makes digital and analogue artists extinct or obsolete. But, there is technology just now blossoming that could potentially outperform as you mentioned due to a lack of time constraints or no need to rest etc. I guess time will tell though. Automation will be more efficient for some art applications in the near future. I kind of think of it like print media vs. digital media. Books will never completely become obsolete.
