Hello and welcome to my contribution post for the Share your battle weekly contest by Splinterlands. This weeks guest is radiated Brute.

Let's start by checking out the Lore in Splinterlands.

SPLINTERLANDS LORE

The spreading blight on the continent of Praetoria twisted both the land and its people.

Plants and animals were the first to become corrupted. Fungus sprouted from vegetation and gave them sentience. Animals grew extra limbs, heads, and grew to extraordinary sizes.

Then the people fell ill. Some thought it was from the plague brought about by Doctor Blight. Others thought perhaps it was from the poisonous gases that seeped from the fissures near the volcano.

Whatever it was, those who survived the sickness were changed. They mutated, grew stronger, and were filled with an uncontrollable rage. Some were unable to control that rage and went on murderous rampages. Others fought to maintain their sanity long enough to protect their family, friends, and neighbors from themselves. They fled into the Jade Thicket, where they became as feral as the wild animals of the continent.

The people of Praetoria referred to them as Radiated Brutes.
Jax no longer cared for cooked meat or clean water. He preferred his meals to be raw and wriggling.

Well this lore is a sad one, Radiated Brutes were normal people once 😢

Card Statistics

I'm an owner of a GF Level 3 Chaos Knight card. I'm playing with Level2 summoners and use RB in most fire decks.

Ok, let's see what this character has for abilities!

Level 1Level 5Level 9

The single card price is 0.061$ and 0.98$ for GF right now!

The price of common and GF is decreasing, I'm expecting a price rise at the near end of CL pack sales!

Battle:

Now you know your card. Let's check out my battle.

This is a Gold III league match!

That's a Noxious Fumes (2 poison damage for all chars every round) 36 mana cap match which only fire and dragon deck included!

alt

My rival is also using Tarsa. But a level 1 Tarsa, means all units of their team will be limited to Level1 even though they are GFs or higher levels. That's a big advantage for me!

Let's battle now:

Battle Link

The first look is good, I have disintegrator to decrease their melee attack by one, that's nice. They have a Djinn Apprentice back there which might make some trouble at first but silenced later. Other than that basicaly same structure! One thing is that both my radiated brute and Tenyii Striker is faster than the rivals same chars, that's a very good advantage.

alt

At the and of round 1 we have basically nothing happened but exchanged some fists!

alt

I lost my lava!

Still got a nice Disintegrator back there, no worries!

alt

And, the tides have changed as it's supposed to be on round 3. All the weakened chars of my rival down one by one and what left is not that important!

alt

So, at the end of round 4 the match is won by my team. Hooray!

alt

Conclusion

I must say Radiated Brute is a very good team player. She's a basic replacement of this rare card I like:

alt

This is a mid-high mana consumption reach card and I love using it. At some point I had that card but sold it, and I regret that decision. Still not so pricey now, $2.51

So radiated brute is a "meh" replacement of Fineas Rage, still not that good but if we don't have enough mana we can definitely use Radiated Brute.

The match was still tight to some point but my advantages was obvious and I won that. But I think using a magic attacker is a good choice and I'll try that in a future match for sure.

Thanks for reading and see you later!
